At Contemporary Art of Stone we prefer to view our work as an artistic creation for ones home rather than just a necessary home improvement. It is difficult for many people to fully conceptualize the effect a properly done granite job can have on their kitchen, bath, fireplace, or any other area. Not only will the addition of granite immediately increase the monetary value of ones home, but the impact it will have on the aesthetic value will be priceless. From its inception Contemporary Art of Stone has been in the business of providing not just fabricated stone, but art. The patriarch of our family is Julian Chiu. As a young boy in Romania, Julian realized that it was his calling in life to produce art;  thereby, manifesting life from stone. Julian's creations range from the inanimate realm of sculptures and busts to more practical areas, such as stone tables and granite countertops. After immigrating to America he continued to do what he loved, spreading his work all over the country. At present his work has reached all the way from Michigan to Florida, Maryland to Arizona. It was with great joy that Julian came to oversee the craftsmanship here at our humble location in Phoenix. Our family business of thirty years has afforded us the experience to understand exactly what commitment to customer satisfaction means in today's marketplace.
